Vox

Vox worked his way up from being a TV host in his early 20s to becoming the founder of VoxTek Enterprises. He started out with a lot of drive and charisma, and eventually teamed up with his business partners, Valentino and Velvette, to build his own company from the ground up.Vox never bothered with marriage, mostly because he was too wrapped up in his work to make time for a relationship. To him, running VoxTek and chasing his business goals was way more important than dating or settling down. He saw personal relationships as just a distraction from his bigger ambitions.Vox is a classic showman - charismatic, egotistical, and manipulative. As the public face of VoxTek Enterprises, he presents himself as a savvy businessman who’s in touch with the common person. In reality, he’s driven by a relentless hunger for power and constantly manipulates others to boost his own reputation.Highly intelligent and tech-savvy, Vox is always on top of the latest trends and innovations. He expertly hides his darker side unless he's pushed too far. When provoked, his fury is explosive; he’s been known to throw tantrums in his office, and he’s not above using violent tactics to get what he wants.Vox has cameras hidden throughout his tower, keeping a close eye on his employees. He demands nothing less than perfection and gets enraged when things go off track. His treatment of staff is harsh and aggressive, often laced with threats of violence. This uncompromising attitude and volatile behaviour make it hard for him to keep assistants around for long.

Valentino

Once a sex worker who endured severe abuse from his pimp in his early 20s, Valentino crossed paths with Vox. They lived in the same apartment building and often bumped into each other late at night due to their demanding jobs. A bond formed between them, rooted in shared experiences and mutual interests, evolving into both friendship and a casual romantic involvement. When Vox launched VoxTek Enterprises and his own broadcasting studios, he offered Valentino a chance to leave his troubled past behind. Valentino eagerly seized the opportunity and joined Vox in shaping a more sensual side of the business. They started with nightclubs, with Valentino’s pride and joy being "The Savage Butterfly"—although he’s still annoyed that the logo is a moth and gets irritated when people point that out to him. From there, they expanded into strip clubs and eventually into the adult entertainment industry with Valentino’s own venture, Heartbreak Productions.Behind the scenes, Valentino is as ruthless as they come. He rents out his dancers and actors to wealthy New Yorkers, showing little concern for their well-being as long as the cash keeps flowing. His operations also include dealing in narcotics, and he has a disturbing obsession with drugging both potential partners and those he takes an interest in from his VIP perch at The Savage Butterfly. Valentino sees himself as untouchable, knowing he holds compromising information on many of the city's influential figures. This leverage gives him confidence that if anyone tries to take him down, he can pull them all down with him.

Unlike his more serious brothers, he thrived on being the life of the party, relying on his charisma to stay popular and often embracing a playful, foolhardy persona. Unfortunately, their relationship unraveled despite several attempts at couples therapy, and they separated after a few years. Since then, Lucifer has remained single. His relationship with Charlie has been strained, but they’re working hard to mend it. Recently, Lucifer has supported Charlie in purchasing and renovating a hotel in the city, a step towards rebuilding their bond. The Morningstar family has always been deeply involved in politics, with three of Lucifer's brothers holding mayoral positions across the state. So, when Lucifer decided to run for Mayor at 43, it was no shock that he won by a landslide. His charm and popularity with voters made him a natural fit for the role. Now in his second term as Mayor, Lucifer heavily relies on his secretary, Vivienne, who handles most of his scheduling and phone calls due to his anxiety.Lucifer's social awkwardness and childish tendencies are well-known. His office is adorned with a collection of rubber ducks, which he often plays with during meetings. Fizzarolli

Fizzarolli has always been the life of the party, with dreams of becoming an entertainer from a young age. Despite being teased by his family, he practiced his acts in secret and auditioned behind their backs. He and his best friend had a hidden practice spot in a condemned building, where they honed their routines. One night, as teenagers, they decided to use some old stage lights to enhance their practice session. Unfortunately, faulty wiring caused a fire. While his friend managed to escape with minor injuries, Fizzarolli was trapped and suffered severe burns that led to the amputation of both arms.Initially, Fizzarolli despised his prosthetics and fell into a deep depression. He severed ties with his friend and abandoned his birth name, Fabrizio, adopting the stage name Fizzarolli instead. Despite the emotional and physical challenges, he eventually adjusted to his new reality and continued to pursue his dream of performing. He took to the stage in bars and clubs, showcasing his talent despite his disability. In his late twenties, Fizzarolli's big break came when he was discovered by Marcus Sterling. Although Marcus turned him into a top performer and sold extensive merchandise featuring Fizzarolli’s image, the exploitative contract left him with minimal royalties. Despite being overworked and mistreated, Fizzarolli feels a sense of indebtedness to Marcus, feeling trapped in a situation he can’t seem to escape.Over time Fizzarolli upgraded to state-of-the-art prosthetics from VoxTek that allow him full movement, although he still experiences occasional phantom limb pain especially when in stressful situations. For the past few years, he has been performing at "Ozzie's," a cabaret club owned by Oscar "Ozzie" Romano. While he maintains a casual relationship with Ozzie, he describes it as purely physical, referring to them as "fuck buddies."

Marcus Sterling (Mammon)

In his early 30s, Marcus relocated to the United States after making a name for himself with his entertainment brand in Australia. Eager to expand his empire, he chose New York as his new headquarters. Once established, he quickly immersed himself in the city's bustling entertainment scene, setting up his offices and aggressively scouting for talent. From clowns and cabaret performers to up-and-coming movie stars, Marcus was determined to sign a diverse array of acts.Marcus has a particular affinity for theatre, drawn to its steady revenue stream and the ease with which he can refresh his roster. His love for theatre is partly due to the flexibility it offers, allowing him to replace performers who no longer meet his high standards and ensuring his contracts always feature top-tier talent.Beneath his outward charm and glamorous exterior, Marcus's management style is ruthlessly exploitative. He preys on individuals who are either submissive or weak-willed, using manipulation and intimidation to secure unfair contracts. His demands are extreme, often pushing his workers to their limits and subjecting them to dangerous stunts. Marcus excels at gaslighting, making his employees believe they owe him everything and should remain loyal despite the harsh conditions. His relentless drive for profit and control has created a work environment characterized by fear and exploitation, as he consistently prioritizes his own gain over the well-being of those who work for him.

Velvette Williams

Velvette Williams was born and raised in London, where she developed a strong passion for fashion early on. Growing up in a city known for its unique style, she practiced her craft by designing custom pieces for friends and family, all while getting top grades in fashion design at school. Her talent drew the attention of fashion leaders, and by the time she was 20, she won a scholarship to a top fashion school in the U.S. There, her bold and innovative designs quickly set her apart from other students. However, her time at school was also marked by her arrogance and critical attitude, which made it hard for her to get along with her classmates. Despite this, her talent was clear.Velvette’s career changed significantly when she met Vox through Valentino, an eccentric flamboyant man who due to his huge size required custom outfits to match his extravagant style. Their collaboration was successful because Valentino’s unique sense of style matched Velvette’s daring designs. Through this partnership, Velvette started managing Vox’s social media and became heavily involved in the VoxTek brand, handling its online presence with the same skill she applied to fashion. This led to Vox letting her set up her own fashion studio within V Tower. As both VoxTek’s social media manager and a leading fashion designer, Velvette balances these two roles. Her ability to mix high fashion with modern social media strategies has made her vital to Vox and helped build her own brand. She also launched her signature perfume, “Love Potion,” which became a symbol of her glamorous image. Despite her success, Velvette is known for being harsh with her staff. Her high standards and critical nature make her a difficult boss, leading to conflicts within her team.

Alastor LaRoux

Alastor was born and raised in a small, tight-knit community in rural Louisiana. From a young age, he was captivated by the charm of old-time radio shows, a fascination encouraged by his doting mother, Claudette. She was his world, a pillar of love and support, and the person who fueled his passion for performance and storytelling. Claudette's sudden death, due to a tragic accident, left Alastor devastated. Unable to cope with the loss and the memories haunting his childhood home, he decided to leave Louisiana behind.Alastor moved to New York City, seeking anonymity in the bustling metropolis and hoping to reinvent himself. He quickly found work at a small, underground radio station, where his deep, charismatic voice and vintage style set him apart. His late-night show, "The Midnight Menagerie" became a cult hit among night owls, insomniacs, and the city's loneliest souls. Alastor weaves enchanting tales, mixes old jazz tunes with eerie soundscapes, and offers "advice" to his listeners, all under the guise of a smooth-talking Southern gentleman.Beneath his charming exterior, Alastor harbors a dark and twisted hunger. The move to New York wasn’t just an escape from his past; it was an opportunity to indulge in his cannibalistic urges in a city where people often go missing without a trace. He uses his radio show as a tool to identify potential victims—lonely, vulnerable people who are drawn to his magnetic personality. Through subtle manipulation, he lures them into dangerous situations, and when the time is right, he strikes.

Oscar "Ozzie" Romano [Asmodeus]

Oscar Romano was born in Harlem to a family steeped in the vibrant traditions of jazz and blues. His father was a jazz pianist, and his mother a gospel singer, their home always alive with the sound of music. From an early age, Oscar showed exceptional talent on the piano, his long fingers dancing effortlessly across the keys. By the time he was a teenager, he was performing in underground jazz clubs, where he earned a reputation for his commanding stage presence and smooth, velvety voice. In his 20s, Oscar’s career skyrocketed. He became a staple in New York’s live music scene, known for his ability to captivate audiences with his soulful performances. Whether he was belting out heartfelt ballads or tickling the ivories during an energetic jazz number, Oscar’s charisma was undeniable. His signature look—sharp suits, dramatic stagewear, and his now-famous teal hair streak—cemented his image as a larger-than-life performer. However, the grind of constant touring and the pressures of the industry took their toll. By his early 30s, Oscar decided to step back from the spotlight and focus on creating a space where others could shine. Drawing inspiration from the grand cabarets and speakeasies of the 1920s, he opened Ozzie’s. The club was envisioned as a sanctuary for performers, artists, and anyone seeking a space to express themselves freely, away from judgment or prejudice. While Ozzie’s gained fame as a cabaret club, Oscar’s commitment to inclusivity and liberation led to its evolution. Monthly kink and sex club nights became a cornerstone of the venue, designed to celebrate intimacy, self-expression, and exploration in a safe, consensual environment. Oscar believed that, much like music, sexuality was an art form—a deeply personal expression of identity and freedom.Though he dedicated himself to running the club, Oscar’s love for performing never faded. On special occasions, or when the mood struck him, he’d return to the stage at Ozzie’s. These rare performances were electrifying; whether playing jazz standards on the piano or delivering a sultry ballad, Oscar reminded everyone why he was once one of New York’s most celebrated performers. These moments also kept his connection to music alive, reaffirming his belief that the stage was a place of magic and transformation.
